On Your Doorstep

The towpath adjacent to Bow River Village has been extensively improved as part of the redevelopment of the area and now provides a wonderful environment for a jog or bike ride. The River Lea and Limehouse Cut run straight into London's docks - take a look around the network of canals and waterways and you'll discover reminders of Bow's estimable trading heritage, alongside plenty of local nature and wildlife.

Bow today is a fun and culturally diverse place to live with contrasts from traditional taverns to gastro pubs; hip restaurants to East End cafes; fashion boutiques to ethnic delis, film studios to artists' galleries not to mention one of London's oldest-surviving street markets at Roman Road.
